We’re still waiting to find out which teams will be playing for Super Bowl LVI, but one element of the biggest sporting event of the year is ready: the music!

The NFL, Roc Nation and Apple Music announced in September that Grammy Award winner Rihanna will take the stage for what will be an unforgettable halftime show, but fans have been waiting to find out who will be participating in the pregame entertainment. And we’re excited to see a big country music star on the list.

On January 24, the NFL made the announcement on Instagram. R&B star Babyface sings “America the Beautiful.” Abbott Elementary Star Sheryl Lee Ralph is on hand to “Lift Every Voice and Sing” and country star Chris Stapleton has the honor of performing the National Anthem.

Known for his country version of blues rock, the “Tennessee Whiskey” singer has won 8 Grammys, 10 ACM Awards and 14 CMA Awards. However, some football fans don’t recognize his name and say, “Someone please, I’m not the only one who doesn’t know these guys,” “Who? Who and who?” They gave comments. And “this seems inevitable.”

But the NFL’s Instagram account tweeted, “Chris Stapleton’s National Anthem doesn’t match,” adding, “Chris Stapleton is amazing, I can’t wait!” It was flooded with happy country music fans writing. “Stapleton is really fire” and “Too many people are sleeping on Chris Stapleton. Educate yourselves.”

The Super Bowl airs Feb. 12 on Fox. Kickoff is at 6:30 EST, but you’ll want to tune in early to make sure you don’t miss any of these shows.
